About Lesson

Welcome to Update Your Company Profile

Your company profile inside the AWS Partner Network (APN) is more than just a formality—it’s your public face to AWS teams and potential customers. This is where your brand, solution areas, and contact info come together to tell your story in Partner Central and the AWS “Find a Partner” directory.

In this module, we’ll walk through how to properly update your company profile so it reflects your business accurately and positions you for success with AWS sellers, customers, and programs.

Why This Topic Matters

An up-to-date company profile is a requirement for progressing through AWS Partner Tiers and is often the first thing AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Solution Architects, and customers will review when evaluating your business. It also powers your presence on the Find a Partner page—AWS’s public-facing partner directory that helps customers discover solutions like yours.

A well-built profile makes you easier to work with, improves visibility, and is essential for co-sell alignment and Marketplace traction.

By the end of this module, you’ll know how to:

  • Access and edit your company profile in AWS Partner Central

  • Understand what information matters most (e.g., customer segments, partner contacts, solution briefs)

Cost Optimization

Issue: Small AWS deployment with little management oversight and a lack of cloud skills internal to the organization moving from traditional infrastructure to SaaS and cloud based solutions.

What we did

  1. AWS Audit
  2. Cost Optimization Review
  3. Ongoing Monitoring

Result:

  • Eliminated unused storage volumes and the old application server no longer in use, the charges for AWS resulted in a savings of 51% per month.
  • We’ll continue to monitor AWS billing and finance to ensure maintenance of savings and identify other future changes.
